April Krishnan is a residential interior designer who has lived and worked in the neighborhood for the past thirteen years. She holds a graduate degree in Urbanism from the Cities Program at the London School of Economics, which is dedicated to the understanding of urban society and urban change. She completed her undergraduate studies at Wellesley College. Before becoming a designer, she was a Project Manager for a real estate development consultancy. April began volunteering in the Wednesday garden group at City Hall Park several years ago and is thrilled to be part of a positive wave of change for the Park.

Ellen Kahn is an Emmy Award–winning, multi-disciplinary artist and a pioneer in digital media. She is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Visual Arts. Alongside her sister Lynda, Ellen is a founding partner of TwinArt, an internationally recognized art brand that has exhibited in major museums including the Whitney, the Centre Pompidou, ICA London, the Nassau County Museum of Art, the Laguna Art Museum, and the Tokyo Video Biennale.

Ellen began her career as a creative director at the dawn of cable television, contributing to groundbreaking projects for MTV, Pee-wee’s Playhouse, Emilio Pucci, Martini & Rossi, Polaroid, and Absolut Vodka. Her leadership roles include serving as a Governor of the Television Academy and on its Executive Committee.

She holds a BFA from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture, graduating magna cum laude after studying in both Rome and Philadelphia. She continued her studies at California Institute of the Arts in the MFA program with a merit scholarship.

Alessandra Galletti is a registered landscape architect and the founder of Placescape, a New York City-based landscape architecture and placemaking practice. She has more than 30 years of experience designing parks, plazas, streetscapes, waterfronts, and other public spaces. Before founding Placescape, she served as Design Director at Project for Public Spaces, where she focused on creating welcoming and inclusive places shaped by the communities that use them.

Alessandra is proud to serve on the Board of the City Hall Park Conservancy. As a longtime New Yorker, she cares deeply about the park’s beauty, sustainability, history, and importance as a shared public park. Through hands-on gardening and ongoing stewardship, she is committed to caring for the park and helping it remain a welcoming and vibrant place for all.

Dawn Cameron resides in Lower Manhattan with her husband, their three children, and a collection of beloved pets. An active member of her community, she has served on the boards of her local public school PTA in various leadership roles, including President and Treasurer. She has also served as Treasurer of Taste of the Seaport, a local 501(c)(3) supporting public schools, and on the board of her residential co-op.

Ms. Cameron began her career in real estate private equity before founding Sanctuary T, a restaurant and tea company in Soho, which she owned and operated for 14 years. She is currently the founder and principal of ReVenture Studio Inc., a creative venture studio focused on consumer products and innovation.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Shellie Winkler is a professional coach and communications consultant. She and her husband Dean Winkler have called City Hall Park their front yard for more than 35 years. 

Shellie's focus is on fundraising and communications to benefit the Conservancy. 

Her background includes decades of working as a senior executive with NYC-based communications firms such as Edelman, Ogilvy and Burson, and as a staffer, board member and volunteer with leading cultural and not-for-profit organizations including The New York Public Library, New York-Presbyterian and Morningside Center for Social and Emotional Learning.

Shellie earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan, M.A. from New York University and certificates in organization development and coaching from Columbia University and NYU respectively.
