T'ai Chi

We’re back with four sessions of fall t’ai chi in City Hall Park! Remaining dates are October 14th and 28th. We will meet on Saturday mornings at 11:00 AM on the lawn or pavement at the Northeast corner of the Tweed Courthouse. Bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes! Visit taichichuan.org the school's website for more information on the practice of t’ai chi.

T’ai Chi Chuan is a system of movement practiced for health, vitality, stress reduction, and balance. Unlike exercise which relies on muscular force and tension, the graceful movements of T’ai Chi emphasize relaxation and strength through balance. Join senior instructor, Kate Mansfield, from the New York School of T’ai Chi Chuan for an introductory class, including a short demo followed by a class teaching some of the basic movements found in the Tai Chi form and related Qigong. Her intention is to offer you a class that is easy to follow, enjoyable, and both energizing and relaxing!
